Ros is a registered Public Health Nutritionist (PHN) with the Nutrition Society of Australia, Lecturer in Nutrition and Public Health, Food Habits and Trends, Food and Nutrients, Food Vision and Community Nutrition at Edith Cowan University (ECU). Ros is currently; Chair of the National Nutrition Network – Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC); Co-lead of Jamie’s’ Ministry of Food ECU; Co-lead, World Public Health Nutrition Working Group: Sustainable, Resilient Food Systems for Healthy Diets; a committee member of the Vegetable Intake Strategic Alliance; Key stakeholder representative involved in the development of National Allergy Strategy minimum standards for anaphylaxis management in school and ECEC. Relevant research areas includes; Food provision in ECEC; Food allergy readiness in ECEC; Improving employability skills of university students through work integrated learning. Healthy Food Environments; multisectorial stakeholder engagement for a sustainable food system and collaboratively developing an online platform; Pathways to healthy food environments: a guide for local governments in WA. Ros’s agricultural upbringing influences her passion to harness more sustainable agricultural practices to leave a legacy, of well managed land, for generations to come.
