Shashya Diyapaththugama is a PhD candidate in the School of Pharmacy and Medical Sciences, Griffith University, Gold Coast. She holds a BSc (Hons) in Food Science and Nutrition and a Master in Food and Nutrition, Sri Lanka. She is a registered dietitian/ nutritionist in Sri Lanka and is a lecturer (on study leave) in Wayamba University of Sri Lanka. Her PhD research explores the taste-modifying effects of miracle fruit and its potential application in improving food preferences among Australian adults.
