Dr Sasha Fenton is an Accredited Practising Dietitian and Postdoctoral researcher at the Hunter Medical Research Institute (HMRI) Food and Nutrition Research Program and the School of Health Sciences at the University of Newcastle. Sasha's research focuses on maternal nutrition during and after pregnancy and the impact on maternal and infant health outcomes. She has a particular interest in the dietary intake and quality of pregnant women from disadvantaged and diverse backgrounds, with an aim to improve access to evidence-based culturally appropriate pregnancy nutrition resources in Australia.
