Zhaoli Dai-Keller

Zhaoli (Joy) Dai-Keller (PhD, MS, MA) is an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the School of Pharmacy, University of Sydney, and a full-time academic Lecturer at the School of Population Health, UNSW. She obtained her PhD in epidemiology from National University of Singapore in October 2015, followed by an NIH training fellowship at Boston University before relocating to Australia in Sept 2018.
Zhaoli is a nutritional epidemiologist passionate about promoting a sustainable diet and nutrition to enhance healthy aging and longevity. Her research, from epidemiological studies to healthcare system and policy research, aims to improve the dietary quality of older people from diverse backgrounds. The goal of her research is to use food as medicine to better manage chronic diseases and well-being in older people and design and implement cost-effective interventions to reduce malnutrition in community and healthcare settings.
She is a Member of the UNSW Ageing Futures Institute, Deputy Chair of the Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Working Group at the Nutrition Society Australia, Executive member of the Australia Association of Gerontology (NSW), Associate Editor in Public Health Nutrition, and member of the American Public Health Association Aging Policy Committee.
